Amazon IPI Risk Checker

How this is calculated
Amazon doesn't publish the IPI formula or how it weights its four inputs into the 0-1,000 score, so this tool doesn't try to reconstruct your actual score — no outside tool honestly can. Instead, it benchmarks each of your four inputs, the same four Seller Central shows under Inventory Performance, against Amazon's own published threshold behavior and widely corroborated target ranges for each metric, and flags which one is your weakest link right now.
Amazon has confirmed its IPI calculation is proprietary and declined to publish the exact formula or per-metric weighting — a tool that claims to output your precise score is guessing. What is well-corroborated, including from Amazon's own published guidance: a score sustained below roughly 400 (out of 1,000) at a quarterly assessment triggers FBA storage limits and restock restrictions, and Amazon can adjust that threshold periodically. The per-metric target ranges used here — excess inventory under 10% of inventory value, sell-through rate with a 3.0 floor and 4.0+ as good, stranded inventory at 0%, in-stock rate with a 90% floor and 95%+ recommended — are drawn from Amazon's own seller education materials and consistently corroborated across independent FBA inventory-management sources. Check Seller Central's Inventory Performance dashboard for your real, current score and threshold; this tool is a diagnostic for which input to fix first, not a replacement for that dashboard.
